Privacy
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a public leaderboard and process payments. No account, no login, no selling your data. Last updated August 26, 2026.
What a listing collects
When you put something on the board, we store the URL, domain, name, description, category, and the amounts you have bid. All of that is the point of the board and is shown publicly. If you give us a contact email, that stays private and is used to reach you about your listing, including an email if someone else pays to take your spot on the board. Every one of those emails includes an unsubscribe link.
Every listing also gets a private edit link (a random token). It is never shown on the page or sent to anyone but you, so keep it somewhere safe.
Payments
Bids are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe handles the charge and tells us whether it succeeded, which is how a bid gets recorded on the board.
The visitor counter
To show the live "online now" and total visitor counts, your browser gets a random ID in a cookie, valid for one year. It is not tied to your name, email, or anything identifying, and it is not used for anything except that counter.
Analytics
We use Umami for basic traffic stats (pages viewed, rough location, device type). Umami does not use cookies and does not collect anything that identifies you personally.
We also use Google Analytics, which does use cookies and follows Google's own data practices. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking with a browser extension like Google's opt-out add-on.
Who we share data with
Only the services that make the site work: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (hosting), and the analytics providers above. Nobody buys or sells your data, because there is no market for it here.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page. Questions, or want your contact email or a listing removed? Email hello@outbidwp.lol.
