Rules
Short, plain, and settled before anyone pays a cent. If anything here surprises you, do not bid.
How the money works
Rank is bought, not earned
A listing is a website plus a short pitch at a rank number. Exactly one number decides that rank: the total amount paid. Nothing else moves you up.
Getting on the board costs $1
One dollar puts you at the bottom. That is the minimum bid and there is no way around it.
Taking a spot costs $1 more than it holds
To take any position, including #1, you pay that listing's total plus $1. The person you outbid keeps their listing and their money. They just sit one row lower.
Climbing costs only the difference
Already listed and want a higher spot? You pay the gap between what you have paid and what the target costs, not the full amount again.
Ties go to whoever got there first
If two listings have paid the same total, the older listing sits higher. Early bids are worth slightly more than late ones.
Every payment is final
No refunds, ever. Being outbid is normal, expected behaviour on a bidding board, not a fault. You keep your listing and your click traffic regardless of rank.

Housekeeping
- We can remove a listing that breaks these rules. Removal does not come with a refund.
